We remember what it’s like to breathe in the warm scents of nature being reborn, to open the door and run out into it, and to take our shoes off and dance in the grass. Our festival itself is like a child that knows poems, an embodiment of Rilke’s spring: growing, learning, carefree, and beautiful. Share with us your poems and your adventures when you come out to Shakori Hills! The Spring GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance is sure to be as warm and friendly as ever with lots to offer all who attend. There will be music on four stages for all four days; yummy tastes from the food vendors; young and older kids’ activities, shows, and events; a parade; local, creative craft vendors; healing arts classes and practitioners; and opportunities to hear new ideas as well as to share them with those around you.
